This week I decided to go on a virtual field trip which can be found here. On this virtual field trip it gives you all sorts of information as well as visuals for the information given about all parts of life. It shows pictures and information under each picture from the housing to the clothes, food and much more. As well as gives a whole breakdown of the first actual day of Thanksgiving ever. The thing I found most interesting is it is created for so many ages.

The site has certain lessons and visualizes and descriptions depending what students you teach or even if you just want to do it yourself to checkout the living back then and the first Thanksgiving. It gives information about the daily life of the Pilgrim and the Wampanoag tribe. Which then brings you into the first Thanksgiving.

The first Thanksgiving section is an 11 slide slideshow with images and description of the things the Pilgrims and the Wampanoag tribe did together to prepare for Thanksgiving. This could be used as a great activity for students to complete before Thanksgiving break so they appreciate the real meaning of Thanksgiving.
