The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals is an extraordinary project taking place in our world. I particularly took interest in the goal of Quality Education (#4), because I understand the complications COVID-19 caused for many students and school systems. School closures kept 90% of students around the world out of school and therefore, reversed years of progress we have worked so hard to get. Though, many of our schools have turned to remote learning, it still remains unreachable for 500 million students due to poverty school systems and their lack of technology. Individuals around the world continue to take the proper precautions to beat COVID-19 so that we can send our students back to school full time and have them receive the proper and equal education they deserve.
