TakingITGlobal serves the youth, educators, and organizers- because they believe that everyone has a role to play in changing our world for the better.

They have countless opportunities for our youth to get involved no matter where they are in the world. They offer grants and mentorship helping youth get their creative ideas off the ground, they help with international art collaborations, and many more programs for everyone to get involved and share their stories.

They are passionate about bringing technology into the classrooms so students can engage with people around the world and get familiar with world issues. They offer teacher training programs through their TakingITGlobal for educators (TIGed) programming.

This tool is so beneficial for all teachers and students who want to get involved and engage with people in their communities as well as people around the world. I would use this with my class and we would participate in the Guide to Action plan for change within our class and what we as a class can do to help our communities locally and globally. I personally believe we all have a role to play in our communities, and this tool really stood out to me because it is constantly growing and evolving and giving our youth so many chances to help.
