In this weeks reading, I learn about a new too: Microsoft Translator.
What is Microsoft Translator?
It is a free resource that gives live captioning and translation in the classroom. Teachers can use it for students who have a hard hearing or do not understand English.
I think this tool is important to have in every classroom. It helps take down the barriers between English Language Learners and their teachers. It also helps them engage with their peers. It gives them a voice and allows them to participate.
This is a tool I will be using in my future classroom. Communication is key to classroom success, and with this tool it can be achieved.
