Goals:

  1. To end hunger and ensure that all people in vulnerable situations are provided with nutritious food all year round.
  2. To ensure that sustainable food production systems execute strong agriculture practices that increase productivity and production, helping maintain ecosystems, and adaption to climate change.
  3. To adopt measures to ensure the proper functioning of food commodity markets, and to help limit change of food pricing.

These are just a few goals that are respresented for zero hunger. They are all crucial for the outcome that we are striving for, and good for setting standards.

Progress:

The number of people suffering from severe food insecurity has been rising since 2015. Millions of children are relying on the free school meals that they are missing. Production and distribution systems must be in action to lower the impacts of the pandemic. The number of children 5 years and younger are affected by undernutrition and wasting, they can become underweight and cause further issues.
