America Councils is an organization that is offering students and teachers the chance to take their education global. They offer scholarships for students to travel for the sake of learning a language crucial to communicating with other countries. This is called the Critical Language Scholarship Program.

I chose this tool from global educators toolkit because I believe it is very worthwhile learning that there is more to the world than the United States. There is a lot that we can learn from our neighbors, and building bridges between other nations starts with understanding their culture and speaking their languages. This program and others sponsored by American Councils, are crucial to foreign relations in the future, as this generation becomes older.
