In the start of the new year a new social media platform came into the fold. The platform is known as Clubhouse, and it is quickly taking the intellectual world by storm. The app, which was launched in March 2020, is designed for people to have free flowing audio conversations. Someone starts a chatroom with a specific topic, and others can join and contribute to the conversation. These conversations allow for networking opportunities and for people to express ideas. As the platform continues to grow, educators can take advantage of it and collaborate with other like-minded individuals in their field. Educators can set up certain rooms, where they discuss their areas of expertise, and they can learn from one another. The platform also allows leaders of the educational world to have in-depth conversations that anyone can sit in on. The platform is a breeding ground for innovation and collaboration. As it continues to grow, I can not wait to see what new education ideas emerge from it.
