HyperDocs

Recently I have found a hpyerdoc in the form of a google slide presentation. It was a timeline of the American Revolution.

This is a link to the Presentation

Each of the team names in this slide would take the individual students to a shared document for their teammates.

To help students learn, the quizlet is embedded in the slide and it encourages the students to utilize the tool.

The author of this hyperdoc went above and beyond to make sure there were areas for the students to interact. There was even a slide for them to post a screenshot of their performance on the vocabulary.

Hyperdocs are an easy and free way to make students in the class more engaged, and feel like they are a more direct part of their learning. It also opens many doors to make learning more fun, and while this is crucial for younger education, it can also help reduce the stress levels in higher education such as high school and college.

I would love to see more teachers utilize this type of learning in their classroom, it would make me more eager to go to class, instead of letting my zoom run in the background of my daily life. I hope that it becomes more the norm especially as the generation that grew up with computers begins to join the work force.
