HyperDocs are more than just slide shows, a hyper Doc is an interactive Google Document that can open a new world to learning. Rather than using a traditional slide show, a hyper doc makes interacting with the material a must! A hyper doc isn’t just a slide show however, it can be a google Doc too.
Here is a great example of a hyper doc in a word document:
There are infinite links and resources you can add to a hyperdoc. You can use google map and directly add the link right into your doc! You can also add videos from youtube or any other video sharing website that you feel is best!
What makes a hyper doc a hyper doc is the opportunity for interactive components.
One of the best features of a hyper doc is that if you make editing accessible to everyone, all students can comment and upload their work in one place! This is extremely use for and allows for easily accessible collaboration within the classroom. Of course there are some hyper doc rules containing to this feature. Students are asked not to play around with fonts and sizes as well as leaving other students work alone.
Although I am not studying to be a teacher this is an amazing resource that I would use with students.
