Communicators

This week we read chapter 2 of our text book and learned the importance of communication of educators. In order to ensure that all of one’s students are receiving and processing information, an educator must communicate the knowledge to the student in a way the can receive and process the information. An educator must have strong communication skills.

The way in which information is presented can directly impact the take away from that information. Thankfully, we have tools like Immersive reader that allows the reader to edit how the information is presented through colors, background, text fonts and more. Another extremely useful tool that helps educators communicate is Microsoft translator. Many language barriers often stand in the way of educator and student communication. This also holds true for educators and parents, speaking different languages use to mean that parents had little insight on their children’s education. Now, with Microsoft translator, educators can use the translator to translate into whichever language they need to communicate with students and parents.
