This article displays the difficulties many are facing with distance learning. This pandemic has brought on an onslaught of issues for us to cope with and adapt to. With almost a year into this pandemic, distance learning is becoming more normal. However, virtual learning may make it easier for some students to fall through the cracks. My mother is a teacher and I have watched her struggle with educational technology. Google products, namely Google classroom, are the most widely used (at least in my area). Especially teachers of an older generation may not understand the value of educational technology or how to use it properly. the various types of google products that they may have to use can be overwhelming on confusing.

Microsoft Teams would allow teachers to more easily interact with students, give assignments, and offer students a safe and effective space to collaborate with each other. Microsoft teams combine a few of their products with the program. Teachers can embed quizzes within the content they post, much like forms. They can add apps, articles, and other features within the Microsoft team for their class. This ensures an easier and more streamlined path for distance learning. It can also be extremely useful once the world returns to a more normal state. I think Microsoft teams and other helpful educational technology can help make distance learning easier and will better for students and teachers.
