Covid- 19 has changed the future of technology. This article goes over how technology across the board will change, but it also goes into detail about the future of educational technology or “Edtech”. This unprecedented time has turned traditional education on its head. Covid-19 has presented many challenges, one of the biggest is remote learning. From elementary to college level, students are staying home and holding onto education through their computer screens. So the world of technology has to adapt and better itself to accommodate the online classroom. Programs and apps have been developed or updated to promote student participation, collaboration, engagement, as well as communication between student and teacher. The article mentions that tech companies will be asked to develop more interactive yet remote interfaces to engage students and enrich the remote classroom.
