April Golden Perrone, Cohort 3, is thrilled to be fulfilling a lifelong dream of hers–working towards her doctoral degree. She is a seasoned Human Resources professional with over 20 years’ experience. She has served in a variety of industries including hospitality, IT/aviation and federal contracting, and State government. She loves HR because it affords her the opportunity to help people directly every day. April is a Jersey girl who spent her early childhood years first in North Jersey before her family relocated to South Jersey when she was a young teen. She is a proud Rutgers and Stockton graduate earning her bachelors and master’s degrees from these two universities respectively. She volunteers extensively in the local schools of her community and encourages others to give back their time to causes that speak to their interests. April resides in Mays Landing with her supportive husband and her two children.
