In the punctuation course today we began sentence-level grammatical analysis — you need a base in grammar to discuss punctuation. In Research we discussed provenance written in an English Reader (printed in Albany, NY in 1834). In Medieval Ireland we talked about blind dogs and cats (evidently, leaving them around is a good way to keep the Tuatha de Danann from repairing Side mounds). We looked at little things. Not sure that everyone enjoyed focusing upon these small details — they are tedious to some — but I continue to encourage everyone to remain open and receptive to our reading at all levels, big and small.
Also, the Indoor Patio Quad was in full swing today. Every couch was occupied, with many animated conversations. I do look forward to seeing that overhead fan in action.
