Natalie Devonish

Natalie was born and raised in Atlantic City, New Jersey, where she currently resides. She is a proud product and graduate of the Atlantic City Public School system. As a result, Natalie pledges to revive her community by mentoring youth to strive for higher levels of success through education, leadership development, and community service.

Wanting to pursue higher education, she took the academic skills obtained in the Atlantic City Public School System to Rutgers University. There she earned her undergraduate degree in Business Management. Motivated to take the next step educationally, Natalie matriculated as a graduate student at Farleigh Dickinson University, where she obtained a Master of Science Degree in Administrative Science/Leadership.

In addition to her advanced educational degrees, Natalie still continues to value furthering her education. She has received certificates in Law and Public Safety, Human Resource Administration, Global Leadership, and certifications in Solid Waste Management and Employment Law.

Natalie is currently employed by Atlantic Cape Community College as the Assistant Director of Student Support Services where her main responsibility is to assist low-income, disabled and first-generation students to fulfill their educational dreams.

Natalie’s passion for giving back to the community is reflected in her service with a number of civic and community organizations. She serves on JDAI’s (Juvenile Detention Alternative Initiative) Community Engagement Committee, The Community Think Tank; and her proudest accomplishment is serving as Program President for the Youth Exposure enrichment and mentoring program. She was also selected to participate in the Lead Atlantic City Tomorrow program in 2012, and is now actively on the Steering Committee for future programming.

Natalie has received several recognitions for her community involvement including the 2016 NAACP Community Service Award, 2012 Atlantic City Rotary New Generations Award, the 2012 Title 1 Parent Resource Center Trendsetter Award, City of Atlantic City Future Leader Award and receiving the recognition of the Top 40 Under 40 honor by the Greater Atlantic City Jaycees organization.

Natalie’s long-term goals are to eventually own and operate several businesses and to mentor 1000 students within the next 20 years.
