I am currently serving as the Chief School Administrator of the Maurice River Township School District in Port Elizabeth, NJ, where “everyone is special. We believe it and we live it.” I also serve as the program director for the First Star Academy at Rowan University. I have also had the pleasure of serving as a Principal for Millville Public Schools, Executive Director of the First Star UCLA Bruin Academy at UCLA in Los Angeles, Elementary Supervisor of the Little Egg Harbor School District, Assistant Athletic Director and Head Men’s Volleyball Coach at Lancaster Bible College, Assistant Principal at Fairfield Township Schools, and Health and Physical Educator in Camden City.

I received my M.Ed. in School Leadership from Wilmington University in 2004 and a B.S. in Health and Physical Education in 1996 from Trenton State College.

I am the happy husband of my wife Melissa Helmbrecht and proudly boast of my two children: Wally (age 4) and Chloe (age 2). In our spare time, we love to travel, play T-ball, and collect sea shells.
