Theodore (Ted) R. Sanchious is Vice President and Head of Product Management at First Data Corporation. He leads a Product Team in its continued support of First Data’s ongoing efforts for growth in Global Commerce. Ted’s team is responsible for product line performance throughout its lifecycle including product strategy, product planning and issue prioritization. The team is also responsible for product pricing, product development and new business development which are paramount to the growth of the business.

Ted is a highly experienced leader in business and not for profit board leadership. Ted has extensive experience designing and developing strategic plans, managing, training and leading leaders and developing products and services for Corporations, State and Local Governments and the Federal Government. He has more than 27 years of advancement in diversified financial services leadership roles that have included Product Management and Development, Client Service and Operations Management. Ted most recently served as Vice President and Product Head for Citi’s North America Core Receivables Business and prior to that he was Public Sector Product Management Head for JPMorgan Chase Treasury Services Business.

Ted is not only a leader in business, but has served as a community leader throughout his career. He has served as Director or Executive Officer for more than a dozen not for profit organizations over the past 27 years. He has also served as a member of the Financial Services Curriculum Design Team for the State of Arizona, where he worked on implementing a Financial Services Curriculum for grades K through 12. Ted currently serves as Secretary for the Dream Builders Foundation. Ted is also a member of Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity, Inc. where has served in leadership roles at the local levels of the fraternity and is currently serving in leadership roles at the Regional and National Levels of the fraternity.

Ted has also demonstrated his leadership in higher education. He has served as an adjunct instructor at Duff’s Business Institute in Pittsburgh, Pa, Waynesburg College (Pittsburgh Campus) and the University of Phoenix (Pittsburgh Campus). As an instructor within the higher education arena, Ted has provided instruction in the areas of Leadership Development, Accounting, Financial Management, Marketing and E-Commerce.

Ted graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Saint Joseph’s University (Philadelphia, Pa.) where he was Captain of the Track and Field Team and earned Hall of Fame Athlete of the Year honors as a Sprinter. He also holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Phoenix. Ted is a member of the Urban Financial Services Coalition and the Institute of Financial Operations. He is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), which distinguishes him in the field of Treasury Management and Finance.
