Dr. Marchetti assumed the role of Professor in the School of Education effective January 2010 after serving as a senior level administrator for twenty five years in the Division of Student Affairs, most recently as Vice President for Student Affairs. Between July 1, 2010 and April 2, 2012, Dr. Marchetti served as Interim Dean of the School of Education. He currently serves as Professor of Education and past Director of the newly created Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership Program. Previously he served as Director of the Master of Arts in Educational Leadership (MAEL) Program. Dr. Marchetti will be retiring January 2018.

Dr. Marchetti received a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1985 with academic emphasis in Organizational Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction. He holds a Master of Science in Educational Supervision and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology (PA Teaching Certificate Eligibility) and Psychology. His undergraduate and graduate work was done at Wilkes College, Wilkes-Barre, PA
