Cheryl ‘C.’ Robinson

For many years C. Robinson has envisioned running her own firm. Ready2Roar LLC stemmed from her desire to build an empire that allowed her to consult and develop new motivational seminars that make a positive difference in the world.

Currently, C. Robinson is organizing two conferences. Endurance 2.0: The Athlete Entrepreneur Conference is a platform for current and former athletes wanting to gain knowledge and resources to start or strengthen their own company. And, the Ivy Startup Conference connects investors with startups from the Ivy League circuit in order to cultivate networks and share pragmatic insights

After graduating with a Master’s in Sports Management from Columbia University, C. Robinson decided to follow her entrepreneurial instincts and began consulting within the Sports Industry.

She was a part of the 2014 NYNJ Super Bowl Host Committee and NFL Super Bowl Committee, assisted Legacy Business Advisors in developing their sports department which included a collaboration with SMS Productions and served as an event organizer for NJTL’s inaugural grand opening.

Ms. Robinson has remained heavily involved with Columbia University. Not only is she the co-founder of the Sports Management Club but also serves as a course coordinator for the program’s Sports Leadership and Management course headed by Neal Pilson.

In addition, she designed a core Sports Marketing and Events & Sponsorship curriculum for Stockton University where she serves as an adjunct professor.

Over the years Ms. Robinson has been a guest speaker on sports panels, published in notable online sports journals and published her first novella in 2011.

Her past includes working in the Entertainment Industry out in Los Angeles, California as an assistant for agents, managers and studio executives.
