Superintendent of Schools for the Palmyra School District in Palmyra, NJ and have been in this position since July 1, 2012. I served as the Superintendent – Principal for the New Hanover Township School District in Wrightstown, NJ from 2009-2012, and I was the Director of Adult Basic Skills at Salem County Vocational Technical School in Woodstown, NJ from 2008-2009. My seven years of classroom teaching experience encompassed the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Prior to serving in public education, I worked in both the corporate and military arena. I worked for Aetna Insurance as a Corporate Educator and Information Analyst from 1998-2001. Proudly, I served in the United States Air Force/Air National Guard from 1989-1998. During my military service I amassed nearly 1800 flying hours as an In-flight Refueling Technician aboard the KC-135 refueling jet. Having served as both an Non-Commissioned Officer and a Commissioned Officer, I honorably left the military in 2001.
In 2007, I received my M.Ed. in Executive Educational Leadership, Management and Policy from Seton Hall University. In 1996 I received my B.A. in Political Science from Stockton College in NJ. Presently, I live in Williamstown, NJ with my lovely wife, Kim, and our two beautiful children (a son who is 15, and a daughter who is 12). Together, Kim and I share a love for education as she is a special education teacher working at the middle school level. I am an active member in my community and have been serving as an adult leader with the Boy Scouts of America since 2007.
