Some help trying to visualize the competing, and melding legal traditions of early Ireland. I’ve spoken about three major traditions:
- A North East / Midlands tradition, represented by the Senchas Mar, and associated with the Ui Neill
- A South West tradition, represented by the Uraicecht Becc, and associated with the Eoganacht of Munster
- A 3rd, major tract, the Crith Gablach, is from neither school, but overlaps with the attitudes of Senchas Mar
