The Stockton Trading Post will be lending tools free of charge to students, staff, and faculty. Tools can be rented one week at a time and can be signed in and out during any day that the Trading Post is open. Just bring your Stockton ID. This will provide the campus community with the ability to fix things instead of adding to the landfill and to save money by going DIY. Why buy a whole set of tools when you can borrow what you need for free?
Different tools and toolkits are available for rent every week. There are carpentry, electrical, and mechanic kits available, as well as a sewing machine. There will be more tools and kits added with demand and from donations. If you have old tools in good condition that you would like to give a second life, bring them down to the Trading Post and we will make them useful to the Stockton community.
