Looking through this lesson plan and finding out how to use Nearpod alone was very informative. Nearpod offers access to ready-to-go lesson plans for teachers. In the begging of the lesson it gives the teacher and students a layout of what the lesson will look like and how long it will take.

I chose to look through the “Nelson Mandela Day” lesson plans because I thought that it would be a great global learning lesson plan for an important day. The lesson plan I chose was “Apartheid in South Africa” which was made for grades 7-12. Although it was made for grades 7-12, you are able to edit the lesson and accommodate the lesson for any grade(s) you may teach. You are able to teach the lesson right from the website without having to download it. Teachers create lesson plans for other teachers and even the Nearpod team creates lesson plans. Confiding in Nearpod seems like a very smart decision for teachers, it is an easy and useful resource.
