Exploring Hyperdocs

Hyperdocs is an interactive, collaborative, and self-paced way of learning. Google Docs and Google Slides are an example of Hyperdocs. Students are able to interact on the slides or docs together. They can make changes and it will update in real time.

Using Hyperdocs improves the classroom. It takes away the traditional pen and paper to listen to the teacher. With a shared document, students have to be careful they don’t delete others’ work by accident. These mistakes can easily be avoided by making a set of guidelines and instructions.

I explored this website called Hyperdocs.co. It provides lesson plans, webinars, courses, and more. I chose to look through the lesson plans and chose “Weekly Spelling Activities.” It gave me a Google Slideshow that is interactive and useful for teachers and students.

I feel Hyperdocs is the future of learning. After Covid-19 hit, it created a new type of learning. Remote learning is now an option for many and using new tools in classrooms creates a stronger education for all. Hyperdocs have so many benefits to not only students but for teachers. It expands their lesson plans and allows them to evaluate each student better individually.
