Collaborating Within the Classroom

By: Vanessa Mason

As a future educator I knowI would need to prepare my students for the real world. This is based off of how they think swell as their communication skills and how they express themselves within the classroom. Its really important for children to collaborate and communicate with each other especially as they get older and older.

Allowing children to work with each other only allows them to grow as individuals and creates a diverse classroom. In an article I was reading they stated that using jam boards to collaborate helped her students work together. I would want my future students build themselves talking with their classmates in and out of the classroom. Letting them collaborate lets them all share ideas and come up with different ways to do things to help make something better.
