The WE Virtual learning center is a website and community that has offers resources for students, teachers, and schools to better facilitate virtual learning. With such resources as trauma informed practicing, school service learning, and mental health and well being there is a plethora of content.
Of the many resources I decided to take a look at the Tech For Good program guidebook. This guidebook offers a 66 page multichapter informative pdf jam packed with valuable information.
The guidebook centers on eight core points. Empowered learners, Digital Citizens, Knowledge Constructors, Innovative Designers, Computational Thinking, Creative Communicators, Global Collaborators, Educational Profiles.
Each section features a series of examples, testimonials, strategies, ideas, and other useful information on the use of technology in learning. The guide itself has a strong focus on incorporating tech campaigns into schools and bringing in new ideas through resources like the Goals Project.
Overall this resource is great for teachers, students, and schools to adopt and use in classrooms to facilitate a healthy and productive learning environment.
