Jaws is a screenreader that allows people with visual impairments. It gives them a better chance to learn the material in the classroom

This is under Stockton Accessibility that’s available on Campus. Stockton offers much more of these accommodations, which is very beneficial for all college students.

They also offer things like Sonocet and Zoomtext these both offer accommodations in the classroom.

Another accommodation is apps for people who suffer from regular class material. For example, on this website there are apps that can help people who are on the autism spectrum . They offer plenty of material that can help throughout each lesson, to give equal opportunity.

Kurzweil is a reading and writing tool that can help people understand better. It helps people with study skills to receive better grades and to get a better understanding of the lesson that is being taught.

Dragon Naturally Speaking, Smartpens, and Handheld Magnifiers all help with the writing aspect of the classroom. All of these tools are very benetifital for not only in the classroom, but for at home activities too. These are all very helpful for students and even teacher.
