HyperDocs

Matthew Ernst

HyperDocs are a way that teachers can improve information retention and provide interactive and stimulating lessons. This became especially important during the pandemic, when direct lecturing through computer screens became increasingly difficult and frustarating. For teachers and students all together.

For example, in the Hyperodc shown above the instructor has linked a bunch of books together in a simple document that students are to interact with. Each book cover is a hyperlink that takes you to another document that provides more details on the subjects and authors of each book.

By these documents being linked in this fashion, it reduces the discomfort of an endless scroll through pointless information if a student was searching for a particular title.
