San Francisco Virtual Trip

Matthew Ernst

For my virtual field trip, I chose the seemingly beautiful and forever stunning city of San Francisco. I chose this city specifically since it houses the many powerhouses of the past and current tech and business industry.

Pictured below is a night time view of the financial district which houses many of the fortune 500 financially based companies, such as Wells Fargo and Charles Schwab.

This is the Palace of Fine Arts which contains an exhibition center that houses all sorts of events. The event rooms total up to 140,000 square feet for all your needs.
The event grounds are also surrounded completely by what seems to be an endless horizon of residential roads. Which is a heavy comparison as to what was seen previously in the Financial District.

Pictured below is the endless abyss of residences, which seems so out of reach from the Financial District.

And last but not least is Alcatraz Island. In operation from 1934 to 1963, the prison served home to many prisoners such as Al Capone, George Kelly, and ‘Birdman’, Robert Stroud.
