Journey North is a beautiful website that includes information on different plants and animals, current news about what is happening in nature, and maps of where to view certain animals. Their mission is to inspire people from across North America to help track wildlife migration and seasonal change to foster scientific understanding, environmental awareness, and the land ethic. Journey North started in 1994 by utilizing technology to protect and watch the habitats of mant species.
I took a look at the bald eagle map which shows a map of where these birds were spotted around the United States and when. It includes a break down in a data chart of the exact location, date, town, and number of eagles spotted. On the map you are able to report your own sighting of a bald eagle.
