Today I used the website Airpano. Airpano is a place where people can virtually tour other parts of the world from the comfort of their home. All people need to do is search for a place in the search bar that they would like to explore. Then you will have immediate access to the virtual tour of that place. People can also access videos on different places and other photo galleries.
I looked up Venice, Italy in the search bar and I was able to see the city of Venice from a helicopter view. I thought it was absolutely breathtaking. I was able to enjoy the sights of Venice, Italy just from sitting on my couch. I immediately thought to myself that I don’t have to spend thousands of dollars traveling to these different places where I can just experience them from home.
Benefits of using Airpano:
- People have the ability to see other countries and their relics.
- There is more of a learning opportunity.
- People are in more comfortable places when visiting.
- People are able to form lasting memories from these places.

This application seems to be very helpful! For my job with teaching I would like to travel abroad. Depending on the school I choose to work in I would like to see the area first from home. I would not want to just accept a job without even looking at where it is and how it is. Using Airpano it will be very helpful in seeing what the city is like and what I can expect. Some people make vlogs of cities they work in but they don’t show every part of those cities. Airpano will make it so much easier to take the time and look into a city in detail. It’s really a neat helpful tool!
I would love to start traveling someday, but i usually barely make it out of the state. I think its cool how if I were interested in traveling somewhere, that I can get a feel for it before I decide if it is where I want to go. And it is a great learning tool to see how other cities are built and what they look like!
Hi! This option is so cool because it allows for you to see a city where you might want to travel to before actually going. While seeing it from your computer does not compare to seeing it in person, you get a little taste of what you may experience if you were to go in person in the future. Camille
Hello! This site is so cool. I loved how easy it is to use and how you can travel anywhere you like! I found the helicopter view of Venice Italy to be so cool and beautiful. Students would love traveling around on this website to learn about new places and cultures.
