If you are anything similar to me, you may have always notoriously had issues presenting things. Under pressure I am completely unable to echo out a full, fluent sentence, and when reading from a script it takes me seconds to read through it all. It’s been a severe frustration of mine since I was young, and it hasn’t gotten better.

This week I’ve learned of a built-in feature within’ Microsoft’s PowerPoint application that was built from the ground up for people just like me. The ‘Rehearse from Coach’ feature listens to you while you give a practice presentation. Once you finish your presentation it will give you a score and point you in a direction that you can improve upon.

The Artificial Intelligence built behind the feature generates feedback live, during your practice presentation. And then after the presentation it generates page that reviews your presentation and points out any flaws it might’ve had, such as this.

Overall, I am really looking forward to being able to make proper use out of this tool next time I am tasked with giving a presentation.
