It was first launched backing 2017 by the KIND Foundation, a foundation aimed to foster a more empathetic world. The goal of Empatico is to help develop young students global awareness, collaboration skills and empathy to the world.

Empatico targets students between the ages of 7 and 11 years old. Empatico is a tool set for video conferences and other interactive actives to connect students from different regions and cultures. This grants the perfect opportunity for students tolerant about different cultures, traditions and ways of life.

This platform includes many activities that explores different topics such as music, food, and art. Due to the age of the targeted audience these activities are designed to be fun and engaging. This will continue to keep the attention of the young learners while also teaching them. Empatico activities are set than education standard that aim to develop critical thinking skills, communication and problem-solving skills.
