A free lesson plan that I thought was interesting was gauged to children ages 8-14. In this lesson, the children got to learn about how important sustainability is in our everyday lives. To help them understand nonrenewable vs renewable resources, the students get to create their own tote bag out of a t-shirt. This lesson plan is a great hands-on way to teach students. I was so surprised that they offered it all for free.
