I found it intriguing that it talked about the drawbacks and the positives of the “MIE” which stands for Microsoft Innovative Education Programme. This Programme recognizes global educators who use technology to teach not only this generation but the generations in the future. This programme helps achieve more efficient learning and gives a higher percentage of student outcomes.

Positives

• There are many different opprotunities that this program offers

  • multiple resources
  • Connecting with other teacher/peers/educators globally

Overall there is just so much freedom and well organized structures that can help globally for all students.

Negatives

• Doesn’t expand to other resources – just Microsoft!
• If a someone has a question or concern it gives a Microsoft programmed answer

Conclusion

There are so many possibilities that come along with educational technology and educational learning. I think that if it is broadcasted the way that it is being broadcasted now there is some real potential for the future generation of students
