I am writing about educational technology in response to the article, Barriers and Facilitators to Racial Equity in K-12 Education, other resources are provided within this article. The article explains the difference when harm is involved with minority students and then when there’re barriers away from harm to minority students. Many schools that are underfunded and are in urban areas often have harmful areas to students, they don’t provide the correct resources that these students need. The area students live in and go to school to, often reflect on their performance in school, most of the time students drop out of school. Without the necessary tools and resources we the teachers have failed our students, we did not provide the correct tools that they need to be successful. We have to find a way to help these students who don’t have the correct materials, we have to be the change for them.
