This article talks about how diverse educational technology can actually be.
There are three key elements to successful educational technology internationally
- administrative commitment
- community support
- appropriate resourcing
Administrative commitment
They develop and clear vision that is easily understood by everyone. Having engaged leadership in the administrative atmosphere can go a long way when it comes to creating an EdTech Program for international schools.
Community support
Community can be interpreted in many ways, but in this article it talked a decent amount about teachers trying to start integrating these type of EdTech programs. As stated in the article, “…Technology conversations that have been pointed and challenging, but not confrontational. The result being teachers who integrate EdTech at varying levels, but whom all embrace the school’s intent to improve student learning through digital resources.”
As teachers begin to start using this technology it arouses inquiry from parents, which then spreads to a whole community asking questions about how they can learn and possibly contribute to the EdTech Programs.
