Different types of accessibility tools

  1. Jaws: A screen recorder developed for computer users whose vision loss prevents them from seeing screen content.
  2. C-Pen Reader: A portable device that reads printed text out-loud with an English, Spanish, or French, digital voice.
  3. Smart pens: use bluetooth to record audio and send it to a smart phone or digital device.
  4. Dragon naturally speaking: Is a voice driven program that allows students to create, format, and edit documents by thinking out loud.
  5. Kurzweil: Provides built in features for reading, writing, and study skills for those struggling with literacy skills.
  6. Sonocent: Is an audio note taking software that captures audio, text, and slides.
  7. Zoom text: Is a screen magnifier for Microsoft Windows and is used for low vision users.
