The White House

Tour the White House in 360 Degrees

The virtual field trip I decided to go on was the White House tour. I chose this one because I’ve never been there and wanted to see what it was like. I’ve seen the white house recreated in movies and I heard about it from my parents when they went and toured it. It was neat how you could look at the artwork on the walls and they also gave you information on them, along with the statues. Another thing I found interesting was when you walked down one of the hallways that had windows on the left side, if you looked outside you could see a soccer net. I thought this was neat since I used to play and never would think they would have a net just in the middle of one of their courtyards. Another observation I had while viewing the white house digitally was that all of the rooms were pretty much connected and rooms were right next to each other. There was also a room which looked like a movie theater but there was just a stage like spot where I guess you could hold acts like singing or something of the sorts. One thing I was wondering about is if there are hidden passageways throughout the White House. In an old building like that and a place of such importance I feel like there would be secret passageways to escort out VIPs in a potentially violent occurrence.
