The Rock Cycle Hyperdoc

I have chosen to blog about the Hyperdoc I found from the twitter user @TechEdChange. She made a Hyperdoc about the rock cycle. Her hyperdoc is in a google doc that shows links to pictures, videos, texts, games, and clues that explain what exactly the rock cycle is and how it works. She also attached to this tweet a Google Doc for students to respond to questions and check understanding. This Google Doc can be completed as either a class or individually.

Above is a picture of what the Hyper doc looks like. There are several interactive components of this assignment, such as the what to look for, start a collection, and transform a rock section. The Google Doc can also be interactive if it is used as a whole class submission. One thing I really enjoy about this hyperdoc are the several modalities to learn. This assignment has students read, watch videos, and participate in activities before answering questions. I like this because it supports various learning styles (such as visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and more).
