The Louvre – Virtual Field Trip

By: Gianna Gras. November 13, 2022

For me, I have always loved art museums and been fascinated by them, however, there are not many great art museums near us. So, I took the opportunity to visit the Louvre through the virtual online tour. I will most likely never be able to experience this in person, so, being able to have this experience from. the comfort of my own home is amazing especially sine it feels like I am really there. In this online tour, everything you see feels like it is in person. You can also click on individual art pieces and deep dive into more information on it which you can’t do in person here.

  1. I love museums myself! I have recently been to the MET, Guggenheim, MoMA, The Frick, and a few more. Because of being able to be pretty much all online at Stockton, I have had the opportunity to pretty much utalize my parents’ apartment in Meatpacking almost every week. Immersing yourself in culture gives so much food for thought and it creates, for me at least, a lot of peace of mind. I loved your Louvre blog, and I hope to be able to go eventually one day!
