By: Gianna Gras. October 16, 2022

Communication is extremely important when it comes to educating, and is something that we really on heavily in a classroom. What I learned form the Chapter 2 reading is that communication is the backbone of education. There are many aspects of communicating that we rely on as well in the classroom like being expressive, receptive, verbal nonverbal, written, spoken, using gestures, or symbols. A skill I discovered while reading was that there are creative ways in which we can use to communicate in the classroom. This creative tool is the Microsoft Education toolkit. This toolkit allows for effective, yet fun ways to communicate in the classroom. This tool also allows for teachers and students to communicate in different languages and understand each other with its translator function. Language barriers are very important in life, and especially in the classroom, so having this availability is very useful for educators.
