In online learning, technology is one of the most important factors in this style of learning. Now the combination of teacher practices and technology is giving way to new practices for teachers. According to the article, the new educational technology is allowing students to feel included and personalize their own learning experiences. It creates a learning experience where every student has a chance to be involved in creating their own learning experience. From the article, I learned that it also gives the students an ability to learn remotely from the comfort of their own homes without the added stress. An online learning environment is also more accessible to students with disabilities which may keep them from entering the school building. Students are being given access to online texts and giving them the ability to turn their work in online promoting accessibility for every student. Giving students access to technology gives them a reason to participate more and provides better engagement. Online learning gives students the ability to watch video lessons and as some were listed in the article including TED-ED, Classdojo, and Kahoot. Combining Progressive teaching with educational Technology creates multiple teaching methods so that every student has the ability to learn. It creates an interactive learning environment for every student.
