WE Virtual Learning

I found WE Well-being to be the most intriguing module on the WE Virtual Learning Center website. Well-being is essential for a happy life and is a concept and practice that should be introduced to children at an early age. The program contains practices that will help young students handle the stress and anxiety that can come from classroom interactions and the process of learning. For example, mindfulness teaches the student to pay attention to what is happening without judgment and to set intentions. The rest of the WE Well-being lessons are reinforced by starting with mindful moments. The well-being program for kindergarten through third grade involves students in exploring topics like mindfulness, gratitude, empathy, altruism, and resilience. These are activities that will not only benefit the child while in school but can be employed for a lifetime of personal success in their future relationships and career.
