For this weeks blog post I decided to examine the Tech For Good resource on the We Virtual Learning Center. This resource focuses on the overall benefits of technology within a classroom setting as well as what ways it can be used for good. Certain ways that were focused on throughout this resource were volunteering, fundraising, awareness raising, advocating and campaigning. Throughout all of these actions people are able to collaborate and help others as well as themselves and with the use of technology it makes it that much easier and effective.

After examining this resource, I believe the use of technology within the classroom does providing an overall beneficial aspect. Using technology as a way of collaborating and raising awareness is powerful. Therefore, I can see myself using technology as a way of connecting my students with one another and others as well as preforming research and possibly creating a blog or post to inform others.
