With the prevalence of Social Media like Tik Tok, can this lead to an increase in the desire/use of visual aids in the classroom like Tik Tok? The answer is most likely a resounding no. As mentioned in the article, Social Media platforms such as Tik Tok may be entertaining and appeal to Visual Based Learners, however there is so much risk involved with relying on a platform like this. Easy access to misinformation, lack of credibility, and the difficulties that come with citing information from the app can create major problems if trying to use the app in an educational manner. Only time will tell what the future has for apps like Tik Tok in the classroom.
