The Modern College Student Easily Navigates Social Media, Yet Struggles With Educational Programs

The article also succeeds in discussing how students can have such a variance in their abilities to use educational technology. Different social groups are more or less likely to have access to these programs, or have time to play and learn them early on. Then later on in a student’s academic career, if they are not proficient at these programs then they may treated as remedial and not have the same motivation to continue to learn about it. The issue stems from a lack of equity across education, and this article elaborates on this and more.
