Nicole Schielzo mounts a time-lapse camera to a tree during a controlled burn at Stockton University in February to document the regeneration of the forest ecosystem.

Nicole Schielzo ’16 is an Environmental Studies graduate from Stockton. Schielzo established a time-lapse photography project to tell an important and ongoing story about forest management at Stockton University. She is beginning a fall internship at Green Chimneys Wildlife Center in Brewster, New York in September to work more closely with wildlife in a rehabilitation and rescue facility. Schielzo reflects on her experiences with Stockton’s faculty as well as studying abroad two times, “I have become a global citizen because of the opportunities Stockton has presented to me”.

Alisha Owens

Alisha Owens ’99 has a marketing degree from Stockton and was just recently named the vice president of advertising for the Arizona Daily Star. Previously, she was the advertising director of The Post and Courier in Charleston, South Carolina, as well as the director of advertising for The Press of Atlantic City Media Group.

Edward F. Beck ’97, a resident and former Dennis Township committeeman announced his candidacy to fill the Cape May County freeholder seat being vacated by Kristine Gabor. Beck graduated from Atlantic Cape Community College in 1994, received his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Richard Stockton College in 1997, and a Master’s degree in Administrative Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2004.
