In summer 2016, Michelle Villar ’97 studied Borneo’s primate denizens, including the orangutan, and developed new ways to engage communities worldwide in primate conservation in Borneo. Michelle, a teacher at Vineland High School lives in Vineland, N.J., and took the graduate course in pursuit of her master’s degree from Miami University’s Global Field Program.


Kristen (Pasculli) Fischer’s ’00 first children’s book, Zoo Zen: A Yoga Story for Kids will be published and in stores nationally in July 2017.

Alison Pilla ’09 graduated with my BA in Psychology and went on to receive her Masters in Counselor Education from Kean University. Pilla ’09 recently wrote and published a children’s book, titled “It’s Not So Bad”.
