Susan Adelizzi-Schmidt ’05, of Suasion Communications Group, has been chosen for the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses 2017 Philadelphia Spring Cohort. Adelizzi-Schmidt MBA ’05 and her team have been working at Suasion for 10 years to increase awareness for the amazing people and businesses in the local communities. The Goldman Sachs program will allow participants to develop even better business strategies and help them plan the growth of their companies more than ever before.
Bruce Gitto ’87
On June 13, students from Egg Harbor Township performed a song written by Bruce Gitto ’87 at the Hamilton Mall. The song is titled, ‘End Hunger’ and promotes food drives for the Food Bank of South Jersey. Gitto ’87, a Business Studies graduate from Stockton says,
“[From the] class of 1987, I hold a degree in Accounting (BA) then went on to Education where I got a Masters in Education before Stockton had Graduate courses, otherwise I would have attended Stockton [again] without hesitation. My son is attending Stockton in the Fall, in what is I believe the first Physician’s Assistant Program there at Stockton. I am honored to have him attend there and so glad Stockton is offering SO MUCH in terms of programs now…”
Katie Kachmarchyk ’14
Katie Kachmarchyk ’14 was in the Psychology program at Stockton where she found her passion. Professors in the program, Michael Frank and John White, were among those who helped shape Kachmarchyk’s ’14 love for the human brain and psychology. She graduated from Webster University Leiden in May 2017 with a Masters in Counseling Psychology. Currently she is living in the Netherlands where she received her degree and where she will be working.
Shannon Mae Palzer ’14
Shannon Palzer ’14 graduated with a BS in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Stockton. After spending some time working as the food and beverage manager at Stockton Seaview Hotel & Golf Club, she was the director of marketing and business development for Gloucester Premium Outlets. Palzer ’14 is now the new marketing manager for Bell Tower Shops in Fort Meyers, FL.
